Meet Our Staff 2017

UNIT LEADERS

Junior Camp

 Kathie “K.I.” Immerman, Unit Leader for Juniors (7, 8, 9  & 10 year olds)

This will be K.I.’s 29th Robindel summer! She has a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Education. K.I. has 38 years of camping experience, and 33 years teaching experience. She is a Physical Education Teacher for grades K-5 in Chatham, New Jersey. K.I. is the calming face and voice to our junior campers and their parent’s each summer. In her free time K.I. loves to read –  she is passionate about social and emotional learning for children. She is looking forward to spending the summer with her camp family!

Abbe Lazar, General Counselor

This will be Abbe’s first summer as a counselor, but she was previously a camper for 7 summers. She is from Edgemont, NY and is currently studying Marketing at Emory University. Abbe is excited to share some of her favorite camp traditions such as Gold Rush and Sing with her campers. She is looking forward to meeting her campers and watching them grow. Abbe is a Willow counselor this summer.

Gionita Saldanha, General Counselor

This will be Gionita’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Liverpool, UK where she recently completed a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at The University of Sheffield. Having worked in the office last summer, Gionita enjoyed meeting all of the campers and is looking forward to being a counselor this summer. She can’t wait to be involved in B&W, dance at campfires, and live in a bunk as a cabin counselor. Gionita is a counselor is Spruce.

Intermediate Camp

Hannah Fisher, Unit Leader for Intermediates (11 & 12 year olds)

Hannah is coming from Cheshire, England for her second summer at Robindel. She studies Accounting and Finance at The University of Salford. Some random facts about Hannah: she has lived in Australia, she can play the flute, and she is a dance teacher in training! Hannah was on the Ropes & Archery staff last summer and was also a B&W leader. She is excited to be back at Robindel this summer in a new role, as the Unit Leader for Intermediate Camp!

Molly Fredrich, Unit Leader for Intermediates (11 & 12 year olds)

Molly is back for her 4th summer at Robindel. Last year she received her teaching license, ran her first marathon and got married before coming to camp. After camp this year she will begin her career as a kindergarten teacher. She is looking forward to growing relationships with campers and staff…and is excited for silly campfire songs!

Senior Camp

naty Natalia Aranguren, Unit Leader for Feldman & Robinson (13 & 14 year olds)

This will be Naty’s 8th summer at Robindel. Originally from Colombia, Naty now lives in Peru where she runs a youth tennis program. She has always had a passion for education and the outdoors and believes strongly in the positive physical, social and emotional impact that camp gives to kids. Naty speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian! She is excited to continue learning as a unit leader; Naty loves that camp is a place where she can continue to grow. She is looking forward to being back at Robindel this summer.

Hannah Wheeldon, Unit Leader for Juniper (15 year olds)

Hannah is thrilled to be back for her 4th summer at Robindel. She is from London, UK where she works as a Digitial Producer. She was previously the head of our Swim Department and a Juniper counselor, and after missing camp last summer she has spent a lot of time working out how to return to Robindel. She is so excited to be back at camp in a new role, as the Juniper 2017 Unit Leader!

Dani Lee, General Counselor

Dani is back for her 5th CR summer! She is from Charlotte, North Carolina and she is currently studying Psychology and Statistics at The University of North Carolina. Her goal is to be a teaching assistant in the fall and eventually earn her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Dani is looking forward to new memories with her campers and to help all campers enjoy their CR experience.

 

HEAD CABIN & OFFICE STAFF

Norita Bourke, Office Staff

This will be Norita’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Tipperary, Ireland where she studies at NUI Galway. Norita plays the button accordion and has taken voice lessons for the last 6 years. She is looking forward to meeting new people and getting to know the American culture. Norita is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Cypress this summer.

SUZANNE Suzie Dickinson, Bunk1 Photos & Yearbook

This will be Suzie’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Trim, Ireland where she studies Creative Digital Media at The Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown. She loves to be creative and design things. Suzie also loves music – she plays the guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele. She is looking forward to being back at Robindel this summer.

CHLOE Chloe Hudson, Bunk1 Photos & Yearbook

This will be Chloe’s second summer at Robindel, but she has known about camp for much longer Chloe’s mother and older sister have both worked at camp! Chloe is from Wirral, England where she earned a Wirral Metropolitan Art Foundation Diploma. Chloe is passionate about photography and loves spending time outdoors, so taking photos at Robindel is the perfect combination. Her specialty is sports photography, and aside from photography her favorite hobby is horse riding…so you can often find her at the stables. Chloe is looking forward to spending time with old friends and making new ones too. She is a Bunk Aunt to the Knotty Pine campers.

emma Emma Hunter, Program & Events

Hailing from New Zealand, this is Emma’s 6th summer at Robindel. She has spent the last year working at a lodge in Norway! We are excited to have her back in the Head Cabin this summer to continue planning new and exciting activities for campers and staff. She will also be in charge of the tag board (elective program). Emma loves burgers, nature, and high fives. After spending the year in northern Norway with very few people around, Emma is most looking forward to seeing everybody again and being part of a community.

jennie Jennie Kleiman, Program Staff and B&W Coordinator

Jennie is back for another CR summer! She was a 7-year camper and a 5-year staff member before returning to us in 2016. Jennie is from Berwyn, Pennsylvania where she is a 9th grade English teacher and a soccer and basketball coach. Jennie’s husband Scott was a Winaukee camper and counselor…and Nat was Jennie’s Dad’s counselor at Camp Takajo! Clearly camp is a big part of her family! Jennie will be helping in many areas this summer including: the elective program (tag board), trip days, evening activities, intercamps, intra-camps, new all-camp activities, and leading the B&W program! She is looking forward to that indescribable feeling that you get once you pass Jojo’s on the way up to camp!

cheryl Cheryl Nenner, Senior Sign-Ups

Cheryl decided to come ‘home’ to Robindel in 2012. She spent seven years as a camper at CR (1979-1985) and a counselor in 1989. Cheryl works with senior campers each summer to schedule and organize their Weekly Senior Sign-Up Schedules. She also keeps track of all of the trips out of camp, making sure that Natman and the Health Hut have all of the info. that they need. Cheryl lives in Norwood, NJ with her husband David and their children, Andrew and Nicole (who are campers at Cedar & Robindel).

  Matthew Tallents, Office Staff

This will be Matthew’s first summer at Robindel. He is from Berkshire, UK where he is currently studying Chemical Engineering at The University of Sheffield. He has always been interested in working at an American summer camp, so he is excited that this was the year he was able to make it happen. Matthew loves sports, especially soccer. He is looking forward to getting to know new people this summer and to playing soccer in his free time! Matthew is a Bunk Uncle to the Knotty Pine campers.

MEDICAL STAFF

 MAXINE Maxine Marlowe, Medical Administrator

This will be Maxine’s 26th summer at Camp Robindel. She is from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania where she retired from being the Dean of Students at a local school. She has a B.A. in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Supervision. Maxine is a loving grandmother to four grandchildren. She loves spending time with her camp friends and watching the campers mature over the years. This past year Maxine traveled to Israel with a friend she met at CR 24 years ago! Maxine is looking forward to greeting the returning campers, meeting the new campers and welcoming all of the staff for a healthy summer at Robindel.

Kate Shinberg, Head Nurse

Kate is joining us for her first CR summer. She is from Washington D.C. where she is a Registered Nurse. Kate initially studied political science, but after working in political management consulting, she decided that she wanted a profession in which she could make a positive difference in the world. So, she chose nursing! Aside from being a nurse, Kate is also an artist – she loves photography, design and sketching. Kate is an animal lover and is also trained in animal medicine! She is looking forward to getting to know the Robindel community of campers and staff.

Jessica Collins, Student Nurse

This will be Jessica’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Gastonia, North Carolina and is currently studying Pediatric Nursing at Gardner Webb University. She hopes to become a traveling nurse upon completing school. She chose to study nursing because she wants to make a difference. She says that caring for people and helping them through difficult times is what she does best. Jessica is looking forward to building relationships, watching sunrises and caring for the girls at Robindel this summer.

Amanda Ferstead, Community Wellness Counselor

This will be Amanda’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Chicago, Illinois and she recently earned her Master’s in Public Health & Latin American Studies from Indiana University. She has Bachelor Degrees in Biology & Spanish with a Chemistry Minor! Amanda speaks fluent Spanish and is especially interested in the Latin American region of the world. Last summer, Amanda was on the Outdoor Adventure staff. This summer she is excited to be working with the medical staff and campers, focusing on community health within our CR community. She is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Feldman this summer.

Emily Graca, Student Nurse

This will be Emily’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Berkley, Massachusetts and is currently studying Nursing at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Emily wants to be a nurse because she wants to help people and make a difference in peoples’ lives. Last summer, Emily studied in Spain to learn medical Spanish and to learn about the Spanish culture. Emily is also an EMT! She is looking forward to being a part of camp and to helping keep everyone safe, happy and healthy!

Nicole Rice, Nurse

This will be Nicole’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Pembroke, Massachusetts and she recently graduated with a degree in Nursing from Salem State University. Nicole chose to be a nurse because she wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Her favorite sports are softball and basketball, and she also likes to play the ukulele! Nicole is looking forward to meeting all of the campers and helping everybody to have a fun and safe summer.

ARTS & CRAFTS

 Valentina Toledo, Arts & Crafts Department Head

This will be Valentina’s 6th summer at Robindel. She graduated in 2014 from SOAS in London with a degree in Politics and Economics with reference to the Middle East. Since then Valentina has been pursuing her passions in life – She became an Anwarter qualified ski instructor in Austria, a chef in one of New Zealand’s top restaurants, and most recently she moved to Lisbon, Portugal completing an Interior Design Diploma! She is looking forward to continuing to develop the Art program at camp and to seeing the campers who were in Willow her first summer become Seniors! Valentina is a Juniper Bunk Aunt.

Eliza Becker, Arts & Crafts

This will be Eliza’s first summer at Robindel. She is currently studying Graphic Design at Indiana University. She used to play the French horn and loves music. Eliza is looking forward to challenging herself in a new environment this summer. She is a Knotty Pine counselor this summer.

Casandra Caban, Arts & Crafts

This will be Casandra’s first summer at Robindel. She is currently studying International Accounting at Interamerica University of Puerto Rico. Casandra loves working with kids and spending time outdoors, and she is looking forward to her summer at Robindel. She can’t wait to meet people from around the world! Casandra is a Spruce Bunk Aunt this summer.

Sinead Cosgrove, Arts & Crafts

Sinead is coming from Cushendall, Ireland for her first CR summer. She is currently studying Textile Art Design and Fashion at Ulster University Belfast. Art has always been her main area of interest, so it was a natural choice as her major at university. Aside from art, Sinead also enjoy sports. She is looking forward to her summer at Robindel and to being a counselor in Maple.

EMILY Emily Davidson-Brett, Arts & Crafts

This will be Emily’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Wingrave, Buckinghamshire, UK and she is currently learning Italian while studying in Bologna, Italy. In her free time, Emily loves to sing and read. Her specialties in the Art Barn are drawing and ceramics. She is looking forward to seeing her campers again and catching up on the last year, and watching beautiful camp sunsets with friends after a day of teaching what she loves most. Emily is a Feldman counselor this summer.

Luisa Iacomelli, Arts & Crafts

This will be Luisa’s first summer at Robindel. She is from London, UK where she is studying Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. Luisa is looking forward to her first trip to America and to meeting lots of new people, teaching art and having lots of fun. She is a Poplar counselor.

Kristyna Krejci, Arts & Crafts

This will be Kristyna’s first summer at Robindel. She is from The Czech Republic where she is studying Tourism at Business Academy in Prostejov. Kristyna was part of a ceramics club for four years in school. Her other hobbies include volleyball, traveling and dance. She is looking forward to meeting new people, sharing her culture and learning about the American culture. Kristyna is an Elm counselor this summer.

Jennifer Raymont, Arts & Crafts

This will be Jennifer’s first summer at Robindel. She is from London, England where she is working as a teaching assistant. Jennifer is passionate about art & design, textiles and painting. She loves experimenting with different mediums to create different patterns and pieces of artwork. This fall she will be starting a degree in Art History at The University of Leeds. Jennifer loves learning about new cultures and is looking forward to meeting new people and spending a summer in beautiful New Hampshire. She is an Elm counselor this summer.

Laura Rahill, Arts & Crafts

This will be Laura’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Dublin, Ireland where she attends Maynooth University. Laura is studying to become a physics and biology teacher! She also enjoys playing the cello and piano, playing soccer, and of course…ceramics and painting. Laura is looking forward to working with campers and staff, trying new things and meeting new people! She is a Feldman counselor this summer.

 Maddy Sadler, Arts & Crafts

This will be Maddy’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Birmingham, UK where she is studying Fine Art at University of The Arts, London. Aside from art, Maddy likes hiking, camping, climbing, canoeing, rollerblading and PB&J! She loves to travel too and has recently been trying to learn to skateboard. Maddie is looking forward to “The Lake & The Cake” at camp this summer. She is a Spruce counselor.

  Isabella Toledo, Arts & Crafts

Isabella is returning for her 4th summer at Robindel. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Isabella has lived all over the world. Her specialty in The Art Barn is Painting and Drawing. During the year she is living in Lisbon, Portugal pursuing a Master’s Degree in Painting. She is looking forward to seeing all of her campers again! Isabella will once again be a Willow counselor!

FITNESS

Alison Failor, Fitness Department Head

Ali is returning for her 3rd summer at Robindel. Previously on the Swim staff, Ali is excited to head up the Fitness department this summer! She has a degree in Elementary Education from The University of Iowa and is currently a teacher. She originally came to Robindel because her step mom used to be a counselor and told her about the CR Family! Alison loves to travel and help kids reach their full potential. She is looking forward to a new challenge on a new staff and to making new memories with friends this summer. Ali is a Juniper counselor.

Aishling Hehir, Fitness

This will be Aishling’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Limerick, Ireland where she is studying Exercise and Health Fitness. Aishling is an aerobics, circuit and resistance training instructor and also recently qualified as a personal trainer. She is the oldest in her family with a brother and twin sisters. Aishling is looking forward to coming to America for the first time, meeting the campers and staff and having a fun summer. She is a Cedar counselor.

Lindsay Princer, Fitness

This will be Lindsay’s first summer as a staff member, but she was previously a camper at Robindel for 8 summers. She is from Roslyn, NY and is currently studying Bio-cognition and Neuroscience at The University of Michigan. Lindsay’s mother was a 10-year camper at Robindel! She is most looking forward to Sunday night campfires and singing and dancing with her CR family. Lindsay is a Feldman counselor this summer.

Wendy Rudhu, Fitness

This will be Wendy’s 4th summer at Robindel. She is from Zimbabwe and is currently studying Business Administration at Bluefield State College. Wendy has been on the tennis staff for the last 3 summers and she is excited to join a new department this summer. She is looking forward to working with the fitness team and to seeing her campers again. Wendy is a Robinson counselor this summer!

Sydney Stein, Fitness

This will be Sydney’s first summer as a CR Staff, after previously attending Robindel as a camper for 5 summers. She is from Warren, NJ and is currently studying Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. Sydney is looking forward to cookout dinners and meeting her campers in Elm.

Robyn Wauchope, Fitness

This will be Robyn’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Kelso, Scotland where she is studying Tourism and Events Management. Robyn grew up on a farm and enjoys being outdoors and active, so camp is a perfect fit for her. She is looking forward to meeting everyone at Robindel and to experiencing all of the American summer camp traditions. Robyn is a Spruce counselor this summer.

GYMNASTICS

Orla Whelan, Gymnastics

This will be Orla’s second summer at Robindel. She is coming to us from Dublin, Ireland where she recently graduated with a degree in Sports and Leisure Management. Orla is a two time All-Ireland champion in Gymnastics and a Level 3 European Champion in Cheerleading. Her specialty is strength training and flexibility. Orla is looking forward to leading the department this summer and to being back with her girls. She says that she has been dreaming of CR sunsets since last summer. Orla is a Robinson counselor this summer.

Emily Powell, Gymnastics

Emily is joining us for her first summer. She is from Birmingham, England where she is currently studying Law at The University of Exeter. Emily has earned her UKCC Level 1 Artistic Gymnastics Award. She heard about Robindel through another coach at her gym and she is looking forward to a fun summer. Emily is a Poplar counselor this summer.

Charlotte Wellens, Gymnastics

This will be Charlotte’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Manchester, UK and is currently working as a level 2 gymnastics coach.  Charlotte is looking forward to coaching and meeting new people at camp this summer She is a counselor in Maple.

Lauren Wright, Gymnastics

Lauren is coming from Kildare, Ireland for her first summer at Robindel. She is currently a student at The National College of Art and Design. She has competed in gymnastics for many years and loves to do anything that gets her adrenaline pumping. She is always up for having fun! Lauren is looking forward to working with enthusiastic campers and getting to see and experience more of the world. She is a counselor in Feldman this summer.

LANDSPORTS

  Amy Boyd, Landsports Department Head

Amy is back for her third summer at Robindel. She comes from Birmingham, England and is about to graduate with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Nottingham Trent University. Her specialty in the Landsports department is basketball. Amy comes from a large family with 4 sisters and 3 brothers so she is used to lots of activity like at camp! She is looking forward to another summer as the department head and to seeing her Juniper girls!

Joss Beevers, Landsports

Joss is back for her 2nd summer at Robindel. She is from Derbyshire, UK where she is studying Chemical Engineering at The University of Sheffield. In 2015 Joss worked in the office; after missing a year, she is excited to be back in a new position at Robindel! She plays on her university’s soccer team and also plays netball! Joss has been looking forward to returning to camp as a counselor in Feldman and is excited to meet new people and spend her summer outdoors.

Micaila Curtis, Landsports

This will be Micaila’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Great Bend, Kansas and is currently studying Psychology and Biology at McPherson College – she plans to be a physician’s assistant surgeon. Micaila has played softball for 12 years and won four championships in a row for her hometown’s league. She is looking forward to meeting new people and enjoying her time in the sun working with the girls and playing the sport she loves. Micaila is a Feldman counselor!

Ally Dweck, Landsports

This will be Ally’s first summer on the CR Staff. She was previously a camper for 7 summers! Ally is from Scarsdale, New York and is currently a student at The University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her specialty is basketball. Ally is looking forward to campfires and meeting her campers. She is a Maple counselor.

Tori Engler, Landsports

This will be Tori’s second summer on the Robindel Staff after having been an 8-year camper. Tori is from Boca Raton, Florida and is currently a student at The University of Michigan. Her specialties in Landsports are basketball, soccer and lacrosse. She plays club lacrosse in college, intramural soccer, and played four years of high school lacrosse and basketball. Tori loves to run in her free time. She met her best friends in the world at Robindel and is looking forward to this summer – dancing at campfire, jumping in the lake on hot days, and being on the Red Team! Tori is a counselor to the girls in Robinson.

Julia Greenspan, Landsports

This will be Julia’s first summer as a CR Staff after having been an 8-year camper. Julia is from Westport, CT and is currently studying Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin. Julia’s specialty in the department is Lacrosse. She has played for six years and was a certified USL junior referee for 3 years.  Julia’s cousins were both campers and counselors, so they inspired her to do the same. She is looking forward to seeing her old camp friends, being outside every day, and meeting her campers in Robinson!

Michal Pigula, Landsports

Michal is excited to return to Robindel for his 4th summer. He is from Slovakia where he studies English Language and Culture. He is the starting point guard on his university team. Michal speaks English, Slovak, Russian and a bit of Italian. He plans to earn a Doctorate in English Language and Culture and work as a professional translator! Michal’s specialties are basketball and volleyball. He says that “nobody loves being a Bunk Uncle more than me.” He is looking forward to seeing his girls again, making new memories with new and old friends, intercamps and GPC ice cream! Michal is a Bunk Uncle to the girls in Cypress.

Rosie Townsley, Landsports

This will be Rosie’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Cary, Illinois and is currently studying Marketing and Non-Performance Music at Indiana University. She hopes to work on the business side of the music industry in Nashville, TN one day. Rosie’s specialty in the department is soccer. She is looking forward to meeting new people and spending time on Lake Winnipesaukee! Rosie is a Feldman counselor.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

 Suzie Telepovska, Outdoor Adventure Department Head

This will be Suzie’s 6th summer at Robindel. During the year, she works with camps and resorts to hire staff. When not working, Suzie can usually be found running!  Suzie has had many roles at camp including kitchen staff, outdoor adventure staff, and program staff. Last summer she worked in the Head Cabin and missed Outdoor Adventure too much…so she is back! She is looking forward to the lake and the mountains.

Bronwyn Marrison, Outdoor Adventure

This is Bronwyn’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Berkshire, UK where she is currently studying Media Communications with Film and Screen Studies at Bath University. Bronwyn loves getting involved with many activities such as netball, hockey, swimming, body boarding, running, hiking and cycling! She is looking forward to meeting her new camp family and to making lifelong friends. She is a Cypress Bunk Aunt this summer.

Helen Lynch, Outdoor Adventure

Helen is coming from Ireland for her first summer at Robindel. She currently studies Business at Dublin Institute of Technology. She loves sports and working with kids, so camp was a natural choice. Helen is looking forward to making new friends, experiencing the camp atmosphere, working with kids, and visiting a new part of the world. She is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Elm this summer.

Zoe O’neil, Outdoor Adventure

This will be Zoe’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Waterford, Ireland where she is currently studying Business and Marketing at Waterford Institute of Technology. Zoe loves kids and the outdoors, so camp was a natural choice for her! She is looking forward to meeting new people and building friendships with the campers and staff. Zoe is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Poplar.

Gaby Olguin Peasey, Outdoor Adventure

Gaby is joining us for her first summer at Robindel. She is from Hertfordshire, England and is currently studying Foundation in Art & Design at Leeds College of Art. Gaby has been part of the Girl Guides since she was 6 years old and is looking forward to working with the campers and enjoying the outdoors. She has cooked a full English Breakfast on a camp stove! Gaby hopes to teach the girls some new skills that they can use in the future. She is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Birch.

PERFORMING ARTS (Theatre & Dance)

Sydni Brawley, Performing Arts Department Head

Sydni is excited to be back for her third summer at Robindel. She is originally from Powhatan, Virginia but after graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Theatre Performance she picked up and moved west to San Diego, CA. Sydni grew up in a large family with 4 siblings. She says that sharing a small bedroom with her two sisters prepared her for camp living! She decided to study theatre because she loves to tell stories and she thinks that theatre and the arts are incredibly valuable to the world. Sydni owns a small business called Moon River Print Company – she makes hand-lettered, watercolor art prints. She is looking forward to creating magic on stage this summer and to finish telling her girls “The Tale of Doctor Bob and Doctor Sarah” – they left on a cliffhanger last summer! Sydni is a Spruce counselor.

Natasha Courtenay, Performing Arts

This will be Tash’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Dorset, UK where she is currently working at a local hospital gaining experience in Physiotherapy before beginning her university studies in the fall. Tash has her Grade 6 certificate in Classical Ballet and an intermediate certificate in Modern Dance. She is currently working on the last module of her diploma, which is Dance Instruction. Tash has been dancing her whole life and has performed in over 100 shows. She is looking forward to learning about the USA culture! Tash is a Willow counselor.

Jillian Field, Dance

This will be Jillian’s first year as a staff member, but she was previously an 8-year CR camper. Jillian is from New Jersey but is currently studying Social Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology at USC. Jillian comes from a family of camp lovers – her father and older brother both went to Winaukee and her younger brother is currently a Winaukee camper! She is looking forward to dancing, singing, and giving her campers the best summer of their lives at Robindel. Jillian is a Birch counselor.

Carly Horowitz, Dance

Carly is joining us for her first summer as a counselor. She was previously a camper for 8 summers. Carly is from Roslyn, NY and is currently studying Advertising at Syracuse University. She is looking forward to spending time with her campers, dancing at campfire, making new friends, participating in B&W, and having another amazing CR summer. Carly is a counselor in Cedar this summer.

McKenzie Laughlin, Performing Arts

This will be McKenzie’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Ham Lake, MN where she is a nanny. McKenzie likes to do special effects make up and enjoys set building. She always tries to be a positive influence on people, and loves working with children. When asked what she is looking forward to this summer, her response was “Everything!” She is a Robinson counselor this summer.

Erin Lee, Dance

Erin (“Cece”) is joining us for her second summer at Robindel. She is from Charlotte, NC and is currently studying Social Work at UNC. Her specialty in the Performing Arts department is Dance. Cece’s two older sisters have also worked at Robindel! This year Cece had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Hornets NBA game. She is looking forward to seeing how much the campers have grown over the year and to a great summer in Performing Arts. Cece is a Maple counselor this summer.

Sarah Long, Dance

This will be Sarah’s second summer at Robindel. She is originally from Georgia and is currently studying Musical Theatre at James Madison University. Sarah has been dancing nearly her entire life, beginning with classical ballet, contemporary and jazz, and now musical theatre. Sarah is looking forward to spending time with her campers and old friends, and to getting to know the new ones. She is a Knotty Pine counselor this summer.

GRACE Grace Thomson, Performing Arts

This will be Grace’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Kent, England and has been living and studying in Oxford for the last year. Her specialties are ballet and modern dance. Grace’s mother was a counselor at Robindel in 1992! After camp last summer Grace traveled to NYC, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Boston with other CR friends. She is looking forward to seeing the girls in her bunk, meeting the new campers, and dancing around the campfire with them all! Grace is a Birch counselor.

RIDING

Tess Tess Hudson, Riding Department Head

Tess is returning for her 5th summer at Robindel, but she has known about Robindel for her entire life because her mother spent six summers on the Riding Staff at CR! Since graduating with a degree in Psychology from The University of Newcastle, Tess has been teaching. She recently qualified as a special needs teacher. She loves riding and working with horses, and her passion lies in teaching. Tess has a horse named Bongo! When asked what she is most looking forward to this summer, her response was “Meeting everyone!” Tess is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Cedar.

DAISY Daisy Exell, Riding

This will be Daisy’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Wirral, UK where she works in a stable. Her specialty is show jumping! Daisy loves to rock climb in her free time. She is looking forward to seeing old friends, making new friends from around the globe and to experiencing the camp lifestyle. Daisy is a Spruce Bunk Aunt.

Sara Lazaro, Riding

This will be Sara’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Castellon, Spain and is currently attending Universidad Ramon Liull, Barcelona. Sara has been around horses for most of her life and she competes in the discipline of dressage in Spain. She also plays the flute! Sara is looking forward to teaching the campers this summer and to learning new things herself! She is a Bunk Aunt to the girls in Cedar.

Zoe Thompson, Riding

This will be Zoe’s first summer at Robindel. She is from North Yorkshire, England and this fall she will begin her studies in Business Management at Bath University. She has a horse named Sid! Zoe is looking forward to spending a summer outdoors, experiencing camp life, and being a part of the Robindel family. She is a Maple Bunk Aunt this summer.

ROPES & ARCHERY(aka ROAR)

 Matt Davidson-Brett, Ropes & Archery Department Head

This will be Matt’s 5th summer at Robindel. He is from Buckinghamshire, England but he has spent the last few years traveling and working, most recently living in Lisbon, Portugal.  He is currently trying very hard to learn “the hardest Latin-based language” – Portuguese! He loves adventuring, climbing, traveling, skiing and photography. Matt comes to camp each year hoping to have an awesome time meeting new staff, getting to know the campers more and to be a part of the strong Robindel community. He is looking forward to catching up with campers and counselors and bringing some new exciting activities to ROAR. Matt is a Bunk Uncle to the girls in Elm.

 Chuck Bailey, ROAR

Chuck is back for his 4th summer at Robindel. He lives in Concord, NH and originally started working at camp on the maintenance crew during pre-camp. Since joining the ROAR staff he has realized that he wants to pursue a job working with kids year round. He is an avid climber and enjoys biking and having a good time with friends and family. Chuck currently takes care of his father and he is looking forward to seeing all of his friends from previous summers and to making new ones this summer. He is a Bunk Uncle to the girls in Feldman this summer.

Robyn Barnes, ROAR

This will be Robyn’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Perth, Scotland and she is currently studying Child and Youth Studies with the goal of becoming a primary school teacher. Robyn loves meeting new people and spending time outdoors, so camp was a natural choice. She is looking forward to meeting the campers and to experiencing campfires at Robindel. Robyn is a Birch counselor.

 Natalie Ellison, ROAR

This will be Natalie’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Spokane, WA and is currently studying Environmental Education at Western Washington University. Natalie loves snow skiing – she works as a coach and instructor in the winter months at Mt. Baker in Glacier, Washington. Natalie grew up hearing wonderful stories about Robindel from her mother who was a water ski instructor at camp in the 80s. She is looking forward to seeing her Cedar campers again and to being back at camp with all of the wonderful people.

Anna George, ROAR

This will be Anna’s first summer at Robindel. She is from London, England where she is studying Criminology at Exeter University. Her mother worked at a camp and always encouraged her to do the same, so Anna is really excited for this opportunity. She is looking forward to meeting new people, campfires, s’mores, sunsets, and being outside all summer! Anna is a Birch counselor this summer.

Megan Harrison, ROAR

Megan is joining us for her second summer at Robindel. She is from the UK where she is currently a student at The University of South Wales. She loves to play rugby in her free time. Megan is looking forward to meeting everybody again and continuing to develop her own leadership skills. She is a Bunk Aunt to the Willow girls.

Jane McGrath, ROAR

Jane is joining us for her first summer at Robindel. She is from Ireland where she is studying Health and Leisure at Institute of Technology, Tralee. Jane loves being active and hopes to be a personal trainer. She is looking forward to meeting new people, building friendships, and all of the new experiences that camp will bring. Jane is a counselor in Cypress this summer.

Nombeko Qete, ROAR

This will be Nombeko’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Eastern Cape, South Africa and has a degree in Geology and Environmental Science. She heard about Robindel through a friend of hers and she is looking forward to personal and leadership growth and lifelong friendships under the American sun! Nombeko loves investing time and energy into the next generation, so camp was a natural choice. She is a Willow counselor this summer.

Tara Satnick, ROAR

This will be Tara’s first summer on the CR staff, and she was previously an 8-year camper. She is from Demarest, NJ and is currently studying English Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. Tara runs varsity cross country and track & field for her university and was a national qualifier in the 4×100. She is looking forward to dancing at campfire with her Cypress campers.

SKI

Brock Brock Uhlman, Ski Department Head

Returning for his 8th summer at Robindel, Brock brings a ton of experience with him. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a specialty in Fitness from Indiana University; he is a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. In addition, Brock has his USA Waterski Certification. He spent the last three years in New Zealand working as the Head Wakeboarding Coach at M-I-A Wakeboarding. Brock has been skiing since he was a little boy and along the way learned how to slalom ski, trick ski, barefoot, wakeboard, wake skate, wake surf and kneeboard. He loves sports and being outdoors. Brock is looking forward to getting out on the lake again this summer and helping the campers achieve their goals out on the water. Brock has been the Bunk Uncle to the girls in Juniper since they were in Willow!

James Carver, Ski

James is coming from Wakefield, UK for his first summer at Robindel. He is currently studying Interdisciplinary Science at The University of Leeds with the goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot. James loves to play rugby and hopes to introduce the sport to people in the US. He is looking forward to meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and teaching new skills at ski. James is a Bunk Uncle to the girls in Birch.

 

Dezz Curtis, Ski

Dezz is excited to be back for his third summer at Robindel. He is from Dallas, TX and is currently studying Kinesiology at The University of Texas, Arlington. Dezz has worked in the tennis department his last two summers and though he will miss the courts, he is excited to spend this summer on the lake. He is a PADI trained rescue diver and loves traveling, climbing and reading. Dezz is looking forward to being part of the ski department this summer and to being a Bunk Uncle for Robinson.

Leticia Fitzgerald, Ski

This will be Leticia’s first summer at Robindel. She is from New Zealand where she works full time in retails. She has always wanted to work at an American summer camp and she is very excited to be doing it before starting university in the fall. Leticia is looking forward to being around the campers, making new friends and spending her summer on the lake. She is a Cedar counselor.

Erin Griffiths, Ski

Erin is thrilled to be back at Robindel for her 6th summer. She is from Matamata, New Zealand where she loves to wakeboard. Erin is excited to be back at Robindel with her girls in Juniper!

 Jackie Kaye, Ski

This will be Jackie’s second summer as a counselor at Robindel. She is from Boca Raton, Florida and is currently a student at Syracuse University where she is studying pre-med. Jackie was a camper at Robindel for 8 summers and is excited to be back at Robindel for another summer on the lake. She is a Poplar counselor this summer.

 Aoife O’Connor, Ski

Aofie is coming from Northern Ireland for her second summer at Robindel.  She is looking forward to seeing and working with her campers again, and to spending another summer out on Lake Winnipesaukee. Aoife is a Cedar counselor.

Isabel Owens, Ski

This will be Isi’s 3rd summer as a Robindel Staff after being a camper for 9 summers. She comes from a Robindel family – her mother was also a camper and counselor at camp! Isi is a student at Indiana University, studying International Studies and Dance. However, she recently took a year off to travel and work! She explored New Zealand and Thailand, got her open water dive certification in Thailand, and worked in a hospital where she taught yoga to the nurses and staff. Isi is looking forward to being back with her campers and friends, and to showing people new to Robindel why she keeps coming back! Isi is a Spruce counselor.

Ali Yurman, Ski

Ali was a CR camper for 9 summers and is excited to be back for her first summer on staff. She is from Boca Raton, Florida and is currently studying Criminology at The University of Maryland. Ali comes from a CR family – her mom and sister were both campers and her mother also worked at camp for 8 summers, which is why Ali started camp when she was 5 years old! She still has cousins who are campers today. Ali is looking forward to Blue & White at camp this summer. She is a Cypress counselor.

SWIM

 Poppy Davies, Swim Department Head

Poppy is returning for her fourth summer at Robindel. She is from Bournemouth, England and is currently studying Business Management at Bournemouth University. She originally came to Robindel to push herself out of her comfort zone, and she fell in love with the atmosphere and the people. Poppy is a Red Cross Lifeguard and is certified in Water Safety Instruction. She is looking forward to seeing all of the campers and helping them to have the best summer ever! Poppy is a Cypress counselor.

Carmel Connelly, Swim

Carmel is coming from Glasgow, Scotland for her first summer at Robindel. She studies Physiology, Sports Science & Nutrition at The University of Glasgow. Carmel loves all sports, which is why she chose to base her studies at university around sport. She spends most of her spare time synchronized swimming and rowing and she is hoping to teach our campers about “synchro.” She is looking forward to spending her summer outdoors and teaching the sport that she loves. Carmel is a Red Cross Lifeguard and is certified in Water Safety Instruction. She is a Poplar counselor this summer.

Eilidh Davidson, Swim

Eilidh is back for her 3rd summer at Robindel. She is from Scotland, UK where she works as a swimming teacher and lifeguard. During the winter she works as a children’s club manager at a ski resort. She recently went on an adventure to Thailand and Australia with a CR friend! After camp this summer, Eilidh is starting a teaching degree. Eilidh has been on Water Crafts for the last two summers and she is looking forward to a new experience at CR being on the Swim Staff! She is a certified as a lifeguard as well as a Water Safety Instructor. Eilidh is a Robinson counselor.

Saskia Guichard, Swim

This will be Saskia’s second summer at Robindel. She is from London where she works as a lifeguard and tries to travel as much as possible. Saskia is very interested in fitness, nutrition and health. She is looking forward to seeing the camp sunsets over the lake! Saskia is a Red Cross Lifeguard and certified in Water Safety Instruction. She is a Robinson counselor.

Rian Herlihy, Swim

Rian is joining us from Cork, Ireland for her first summer at Robindel. She was the former Irish record holder of the Straits of Gibraltar for 2 years! Rian currently studies Business at The University of Limerick. In her spare time she enjoys swimming (of course!), cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to meeting new people from around the world, and she can’t wait to share her love of swimming with the campers. Rian is a Red Cross Lifeguard and certified in Water Safety Instruction. She is a Feldman counselor.

 Emma Hope, Swim

Emma is back for her 3rd summer at Robindel. She is from Jedburgh, Scotland. Growing up, her school friends called her “a fish” because of her love for swimming. In recent years she stopped competing and decided to begin coaching alongside her mother. She is looking forward to being on the lake every day and seeing the beautiful CR sunsets. Emma is a Red Cross Lifeguard and is certified in Water Safety Instruction. She will also be taking care of our “youngest camper” this summer, Romy Daniels.

Bethany Todd, Swim

This will be Beth’s first summer at Robindel. She is coming to us from Manchester, UK where she is studying Nutrition and Public Health at Sheffield Hallam University. Beth has been a competitive swimmer for 8 years, including 2 as her team captain. She loves to travel and see new places, and is looking forward to meeting all of the campers and staff and spending time on the lake. Beth is a Red Cross Lifeguard and certified in Water Safety Instruction. She is a counselor in Elm this summer.

TENNIS

Bob Bob “Buffalo Bob” Gamble, Tennis Department Head

This will be Bob’s 26th summer at Camp Robindel! He is from Buffalo, NY where he is a Professor of Education and a Club Tennis Pro. Bob is a member of the USPTA and USTA, and he has a PhD in Education. He is a USPTA Certified Tennis Coach of the Year. He has been teaching tennis to people of all ages since long before any of our campers were born! He is a former Division 1 College Tennis Coach too! Last summer Bob introduced Pickle Ball at Robindel and our campers and staff loved it! Bob is looking forward to continue improving the tennis program, expanding the Pickle Ball program, and sitting on the counselor dock at sunset.

Lenka Bruchova, Tennis

Lenka is joining us from The Czech Republic for her first CR summer. She is studying Management at university and chose her school because they offer good programs for students who play sport at the professional level. She is looking forward to all of the new experiences at camp this summer. Lenka is a Feldman counselor.

adrian Adrian Campbell, Tennis

Adrian will be joining us for his 25th summer at Robindel. During the year he is a Tennis Pro in his home country of Jamaica. Campers love to be on Adrian’s court because he is a fantastic tennis instructor and always pushes campers to try their hardest and have fun. Adrian is looking forward to having a great summer with the kids and counselors alike.

johann Johann Canthelou, Tennis

Returning for his 24th  Robindel summer, all of the campers know “JOhann!” During the year he is a mathematics teacher. At the moment he is teaching in Romania but over the last 14 years he has taught in Austria, France (his home country), England, Germany, Spain and of course the USA. We are happy to welcome Johann back to camp this summer. He is looking forward to the beautiful evening sunsets.

Christian Kurz, Tennis

Chris is coming from Pratt, Kansas for his first summer at Robindel. He is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Wichita State University. Chris is an All-State Tennis Player and plays for his university. He is looking forward to teaching tennis and helping the girls to improve their tennis game. Chris is a Bunk Uncle to the girls in Maple.

Marit Lemmens, Tennis

This will be Marit’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Leiderdorp, Netherlands and is currently studying Biology with Pre-Physical Therapy while on a tennis scholarship at Newman University. Marit is looking forward to having fun with the campers and counselors and to sharing her love for tennis. She is a Robinson counselor.

Karen Machina, Tennis

This will be Karen’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Zimbabwe and is currently studying Accounting at Florida A&M University. She has heard about camp from many people and is looking forward to meeting new people, making friends and learning about different cultures. Karen is a Knotty Pine counselor.

Trey Mariga, Tennis

Trey is back for his 4th summer at Robindel. He is originally from Zimbabwe and is currently studying Marketing at Davis and Elkins College. He is a National Junior College Athletic Association All American player. Trey represented Zimbabwe in tennis growing up. He has been playing for 18 years! Trey is excited to be back for his fourth summer and is looking forward to making new friends, seeing friends from last summer, and helping to make sure that everybody feels at home when they are at camp. Trey is a Bunk Uncle to the girls in Robinson.

Elena Martinez, Tennis

This will be Elena’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Barcelona, Spain where she studies Management and Business Administration at Autonomous University of Barcelona. She speaks Spanish, Catalan, German, French and English! Elena is looking forward to helping campers improve their tennis skills and to helping the girls have the best summer. She is a Cypress counselor.

Jake McCollum, Tennis

This will be Jake’s first summer at Robindel. He is from Buckingham, UK where he is studying Economics at Durham University. Jake plays the piano, viola, guitar and bass guitar. He is looking forward to meeting lots of new people and basking in the glorious Robindel sun. Jake is a Bunk Uncle to the Willow campers.

Klara Supejova, Tennis

This will be Klara’s 4th summer at Robindel. She recently graduated from Eastern Michigan University where she played tennis and studied Sports Management. Klara is originally from The Czech Republic.  She was named the 2013 MAC Player of the Year as well as Freshman of the Year. Back home, Klara was ranked number 14 in the Junior Czech rankings. She is looking forward to being back at Robindel for another great summer with her amazing girls in Juniper.

Christian Vivas, Tennis

Christian is back for his 6th summer at Robindel. He is from Lima, Peru. Christian loves camp because he enjoys teaching tennis and really helping the girls to improve. Christian speaks Spanish, English and a bit of French. He is looking forward to B&W activities and the annual tennis invitational.

WATER CRAFTS

Elin Ellis, Water Crafts Department Head

Elin comes to us from Wales for her 2nd CR summer. While at home she works full-time, so she is really excited to be back on Winnipesaukee for the summer. Elin is looking forward to meeting all of the new staff and campers, growing closer to her friends from last summer, and making Water Crafts a really fun department. Elin is a counselor in Birch.

Mhairi Allison, Water Crafts

This will be Mhairi’s 2nd summer at Robindel. She is from Hayling Island, UK and she is currently studying Medicine at Dundee University. Growing up on an island, she has been sailing since the age of 10. Mhairi has her Royal Yachting Association Stage 3 Youth Dinghy Sailing Certification. She loves sports, science, people, and art…and is known for her face painting skills! Mhairi loved her experience as part of the camp community last summer and is excited to be back with her same group of girls who are in Elm this summer.

Samantha Berg, Water Crafts

This will be Samantha’s first summer as a counselor at Robindel. She was previously a camper for 8 summers! Samantha is from Newton, Massachusetts and is currently studying Special Education and Psychology at High Point University. She would like to teach high school special education one day. Samantha is looking forward to being back at her “second home,” and helping others experience the most amazing summers of their lives. She is a Willow counselor this summer.

Jasmine Harris, Water Crafts

This will be Jasmine’s third summer at Robindel. She is studying Biochemistry at The University of Nottingham where she is also a member of the University Trampoline Club! She plans to become a teacher after graduating. She has been on the ROAR staff for the last two summers and is looking forward to joining the Water Crafts team. Jasmine is excited to see her Cypress campers as well as the friends she has made over the last two summers.

Conor Houlihan, Water Crafts

Conor is joining us for his first CR summer. He is from Galway, Ireland where he is studying Computer Science at National University of Ireland, Galway. He has completed a sailing instructor course and enjoys sailing and cycling in his spare time. Conor is looking forward to visiting America and meeting new people. Conor is a Bunk Uncle to the Poplar girls this summer.

Taylor McHugh, Water Crafts

This will be Taylor’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Omaha, Nebraska and is currently studying at Doane University. Taylor has completed the Spirit of America – Boater’s Education Program. She loves canoeing, kayaking, sailing and paddle boarding, so Water Crafts was naturally the perfect department for her. Taylor is a Robinson Bunk Aunt.

Andie Regan, Water Crafts

This will be Andie’s first summer as a CR Staff, but she was previously a camper for 8 summers. She is from Irvington, NY and is currently studying at Tulane University. Andie started her own cookie business when she was in high school! Aside from teaching Water Crafts, Andie will also be helping to coach lacrosse. She is so excited to be back at Robindel as a Knotty Pine counselor this summer.

Joel, Jeff and Craig spend all year at Camp Robindel. They maintain the property and facilities for our use in the summer. If you can think-it, they can build or fix it!

Matthew Kupcik, Maintenance

Matthew is joining us again from Opava, Czech Republic for his second Robindel summer. He is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. He loves motorcycles, cars and other technical stuff. He is looking forward to coming back to camp and seeing all of the people. As Ann and Nat always say, “It is about the people, not the place.”

Luis Priego, Maintenance

Luis is joining us for his second summer at Robindel. He is from Puebla, Mexico where he is studying Industrial Engineering at Instituro Tecnologico de Puebla. He loves playing guitar, reading, and playing soccer.

Tomas Truxa, Maintenance

Tomas is joining us for his first summer. He is from The Czech Republic where he is studying Business Economics and Management at Silesian University. Tomas loves sports such as tennis, bowling, cycling and skiing. He speaks Czech, Slovak, English and some Italian and Russian too! He is looking forward to getting to know new people and to traveling in the USA.

SUPPORT STAFF

sean Sean Gannon, Kitchen Manager

This will be Sean’s 17th summer at Robindel. He has been working in the hospitality field for over 25 years. Sean works with Ann to create the menu, supervises the kitchen staff to prepare daily meals, and is the go-to person for all of our campers with allergies and special meal requests. He met his wife at Robindel and they have two sons, Sebastian and Jakob. Sean is looking forward to reconnecting with friends rom summers past, working with Gary and Retha, and getting a big hug and kiss from Nat, Ann and Carol.

gary Roosevelt “Gary” Garrett – Head Chef

CR’s head chef Gary has been part of the Robindel family since 1960. He is probably the hardest working man you have ever met! You can find Gary in the kitchen late at night or early in the morning preparing dough for his famous fresh rolls. Some of Gary’s other well known foods include sticky buns, chocolate chip cookies, fried chicken and challah bread.

dana Dana Perkins, Kitchen – Second Chef

Dana has been at Robindel for 10 summers. During the year he is a chef at Plymouth State University. Dana loves to fish, boat and ride his motorcycle. He is a US Army Veteran. He has 3 children, 2 step children and 10 grandchildren. We are happy to have Dana back for another CR summer.

Artur Yustus, Kitchen – Third Chef

Artur is joining us for his second CR summer. He is from Ukraine and he is a student at University of Presov, Slovakia where he is studying to teach English and Russian language and literature. He speaks five languages: Russian, Ukranian, French, Slovak and English! Artur is looking forward to seeing old friends again, meeting new ones, and Gary’s chicken. He is a Spruce Bunk Uncle this summer!

Krisztina Andova, Laundry

Krisztina is joining us for her first summer at Robindel. She is from Slovakia where she is currently studying Business Economics and Management at Univerzita J. Selyeho Komarno, which is a Hungarian university in Slovakia! She speaks Hungarian, Slovakian and English. Krisztina read about camp, saw photos, and knew that this was where she wanted to spend her summer. She is looking forward to meeting new people, learning about a new culture, and having fun.

Zsofia Barany, Kitchen

This will be Zsofia’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Hungary and she is currently studying Human Resources at University of Miskolc. Zsofia loves to run and work out, travel and meet new people and she is looking forward to meeting new people from around the world.

Emilia Barbacka, Kitchen

This will be Emilia’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Poznan, Poland where she studies Art Curation at The University of Arts Poznan.

Peter Farkas, Kitchen

This will be Peter’s first summer at Robindel. He is from Budapest, Hungary where he is studying Business Information Technology at Budapest Business School. He was looking for a new challenge and adventure in life, so camp was the perfect answer. Peter says that he is looking forward to “everything” this summer!

Jana Frankova, Kitchen

Jana is joining us for her first summer at Robindel. She is from The Czech Republic and is currently studying at The College of Polytechnics in Jihlava. Jana is looking forward to visiting the USA for the first time and to being a part of the camp team.

Monika Hamrakova, Laundry

This will be Monika’s second summer at Robindel. She is from Slovakia and is a student at The University of Presov studying Translation and Interpretation Studies. Monika is looking forward to spending her second summer at Robindel and to meeting new people.

Mikulas Keller, Kitchen

Mikulas is joining us for his first CR summer. He is from The Czech Republic and is currently studying Technology in Transportation and Telecommunication. Mikulas is part of a pop-rock band in which he sings and plays guitar! He also plays the flute, saxophone and piano. He is looking forward to meeting new people and new experiences this summer.

Virag Koszegi, Kitchen

This will be Virag’s first summer at Robindel. He is from Budapest, Hungary and is currently studying Finance at Corvinus University. Virag enjoys listening to music, playing basketball and running. He is looking forward to his time in the USA and to meeting new people, having new experiences and traveling.

Peter Linksch, Kitchen

This will be Peter’s first summer at Robindel. He is from Budapest, Hungary where he is currently studying Business Information Technology at Corvinus University. Peter is looking forward to traveling to the USA, making new friends, improving his English, learning about a new culture and having an unforgettable summer.

Tereza Slavikova, Laundry

Tereza is excited to be back for her second summer. She is from The Czech Republic where she is studying at Palacky University Olomouc. Tereza loves traveling, dancing, sports and having fun with friends. She is looking forward to another summer to remember at Camp Robindel.

Ivana Stahonova, Kitchen

This will be Ivana’s first summer at Robindel. She is from Slovakia where she is currently studying Accounting and Auditing at University of Economics in Bratislava. Ivana speaks English, Czech and a bit of Polish and Russian. She is looking forward to spending the summer at Robindel, meeting people from around the world, and experiencing the American culture.
