HISTORY
Many of our buildings were part of
a small adult resort called Robinson’s
Lodge (run by Eli and Fanny Robinson)
that prospered in the 1940’s.
Some regular guests at the lodge were
Jack Benny and Milton Berle. In 1951,
the Robinsons and Paddy and Adele
Feldman joined together and started
Camp Robindel. Eli died in the early
60’s and Paddy and Adele became
the sole owners and directors. Prior
to the summer of 1977, the present
directors, Ann
and Nat Greenfield, purchased
Robindel from the Feldmans and have
remained the sole owners and directors.

TRADITION
Important traditions at Robindel consist
of a Blue and White Sing, Sunday Blue
and White Games including apaches
and track meet, Sunday night campfires,
Tuesday all camp cookouts, and the
ceremonial tree planting by the oldest
campers. Whatever the event, girls
old and young share the Robindel traditional
experience.
